A detached house on a cul-de-sac is a scarcer thing in this pocket of Mountain View than the listing sheet makes it sound.
I hosted the open house at 1603 Morgan St on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. The house is a single-story ranch, 1,234 square feet, sitting on a 5,000 square foot lot that runs 50 feet wide by 100 feet deep at the end of a cul-de-sac.
The part worth walking is the back yard. It is deep, it has mature persimmon trees, and the listing describes room for an ADU. Inventory in the surrounding zip has been running roughly 11 single-family homes against 38 condos and townhomes, which is the real reason a detached house here draws the crowd it does.
